The launch of the cryo:one, the world's most successful single-chamber cryotherapy product.

MECOTEC expands its cryochamber production to a new site in Solar Valley near Bitterfeld, with a total investment of €3.2 million.
The Pforzheim plant now focuses exclusively on cryoair devices.

The inauguration of a new production facility in Pforzheim and changing the legal status of the company to MECOTEC GmbH.

Enrico Klauer incorporates MECOTEC as an individual company.
1996
Enrico Klauer (Crio Medizintechnik GmbH) successfully installs the first all-electric, double-room, cold chamber with a temperature of -166°F at a spa clinic in Bad Säckingen.
1993
Enrico Klauer starts producing highly efficient, reliable cold therapy products for medical applications based purely on electricity, capable of reaching temperatures as low as -193 °F, in Pforzheim. He was supported in his scientific work by renowned doctors in rheumatology.
