What is a localized cold-air device used for?

Instead of cooling the whole body, a localized device directs cold air at a specific area – used in aesthetics, physiotherapy and sports for targeted treatments.

How cold do the localized devices get?

Down to about -60 °C at the nozzle, with adjustable airflow so the intensity can be matched to the treatment and the patient.

Do localized devices need liquid nitrogen?

No. Like all MECOTEC systems they work fully electrically with cold air, so there is no gas supply, no storage and no room oxygen monitoring.

What do I need on site for a localized device?

A standard indoor treatment room and a suitable power connection. The devices are mobile, so they can be moved between treatment rooms.
